Ahab wanted to go to war, and he enlisted the help of Jehoshaphat. In Jehoshaphat's wisdom, he said, "Let us enquire of the Lord" (1 Kings 22:5). Four hundred prophets came and prophesied victory, but one came and prophesied death and losses. Micaiah gave a detailed account of what had transpired in the council of God (1 Kings 22:19–23).
